Notes: I'll ride or die with Oakland-Craig and Ord. Both teams breezed against overmatched competition to start the year. Each should get a better idea where they're at this week with better opponents. Wilber-Clatonia and Sutton is one of the best small-school rivalries in the state and this should be all about defense this week. Bergan whipped preseason #3 Yutan behind the masterful work of superstar Koa McIntyre. Yutan is without preseason all-state lineman Quran Cook who is sidelined with a shoulder injury but they should have been better against Bergan and tumble in the ratings. Centennial-very shaky start against Superior, needs to get better fast with Aquinas on deck. GICC trailed Sutton 8-0 in the third Q but was stopped on their goal line and gave up 2 late touchdowns to Cade Wiseman so they stay in the ratings. Sophomore Karter Kerkman is emerging for Norfolk Catholic-y'all have been warned.
